Shortstop shuffle: Beckham to AAA, Lee to AA

With Reid Brignac returning to the majors today, the Rays promoted the two top shortstop prospects in their system as well.

Tim Beckham is moving from Double-A Montgomery to Triple-A Durhma, and Hak-Ju Lee from Class A Charlotte to Montgomery.

Beckham, the top pick of the 2008 draft, hit .275 with 7 homers and 57 RBIs and 15 steals in 107 games for the Biscuits in his first season at Double-A. Lee, acquired from the Cubs in the Matt Garza trade, hit .317 with 4 HRs and 22 RBIs and 28 steals for Charlotte. Both played in the All-Star Futures Game last month.
