Sonnanstine to be recalled Friday
RHP Andy Sonnanstine will be recalled Friday to give the Rays a long man in the bullpen.
Sonnanstine was sent to Triple-A in early July with an 0-2, 5.71 mark and didn't do much better at Triple-A Durham, going 3-6, 5.46, including a rough outing Wednesday (seven runs, six earned, in three innings).
But the Rays need a long/mop-up man and manager Joe Maddon said, "For what we're looking for, he was the right guy.''
