Spring game report: Rays at Marlins, with Davis scratched (6-3 win)

UPDATE, 2:28: Rays rallying off ex-mate Randy Choate, take a 3-1 lead. Sam Fuld singled and John Jaso walked to get it started, and Elliot Johnson delivered a two-run double.

UPDATE, 1:46: Wade is done midway through the third, and Rob Delaney starts what will be a parade of relievers. Wade threw 47 pitches (30 strikes) over 2 2/3 innings, allowing two hits, striking out four. It's still 1-0 through 3.

UPDATE, 1:22: Fill-in starter Cory Wade zips through the first inning with three strikeouts, and Matt Joyce starts the Rays second with a single, but Felipe Lopez grounds into a double play.
UPDATE, 1:07: Rays go down quickly in the first, with Manny - who after talking his way into the lineup said he came over to Jupiter last night and stayed in a hotel - taking a called third strike, and offering some constructive criticism to home plate ump Jerry Meals.
Manager Joe Maddon said he got an email late Tuesday from head athletic trainer Ron Porterfield that scheduled starter Wade Davis was vomiting and had other issues, so they scratched him from the start. He likely will throw next on Friday but shoudn't be set back for the season opener. ... Maddon also said Hellickson should be fine.
DEVELOPING: The Rays are headed across the state to complete their home-and-home series with the Marlins, and there already is news this morning as RHP Wade Davis was scratched from his start due to what the team said was the flu.
RHP Cory Wade, a non-roster candidate for a bullpen job, will start in his place.
Manny Ramirez, after a big day Tuesday, asked to make the trip and will in the lineup at DH.
Also, word from our man Joe Smith in Port Charlotte is that RHP Jeremy Hellickson said he is feeling better (he had a headache after the game and wasn't available to the media) and that the blister on his right hand is fine (though covered with a bandage this morning) and he will make his next start as planned on Sunday.
Here is the Rays lineup that was posted in the clubhouse in Port Charlotte:
