For starters, Rays at Jays looking for more, with Farnsworth good to go
UPDATE, 12:10: Farnsworth and Maddon both said his elbow is good to go and he will be available today. Maddon said they don't expect this to be an ongoing concern, but the one concession he will make is that he likely won't use Farnsworth for any more four-out saves, where he finishes one inning and then starts another. Otherwise, the Rays are in decent shape, with 1B Casey Kotchman feeling better and Sean Rodriguez in the lineup at SS as a better matchup against Brandon Morrow than Reid Brignac.
Jays lineup:
McCoy cf
Escobar ss
Bautista rf
Encarnacion 1b
Johnson 2b
Lawrie 3b
Molina DH
Thames lf
Arencibia c
Morrow p
DEVELOPING: The Rays are looking to continue their 19-9 run that is best in the AL since July 28 and make it three in a row against the Jays this afternoon, and will have David Price on the mound.
They also will have 1B Casey Kotchman (who was ill) and DH Johnny Damon (who was off) back in the lineup. The lingering question is whether they will have closer Kyle Farsnworth available, as the Rays acknowledged Saturday he had been sidelined due to some tenderness in his elbow.
The Rays lineup looks like this:
Jennings lf,
Damon dh,
Longoria 3b,
Zobrist 2b,
Kotchman 1b,
Upton cf,
Joyce rf,
Jaso c,
Rodriguez ss,
Price p
