For starters, Rays at Mariners, at the deadline

The Rays wrap up their disappointing road trip this afternoon in Seattle, having gone only 3-6 thus far against the Royals, A's and Mariners.

Leading up to game time, the suspense will be in whether the Rays make any trades, with the deadline for non-waiver deals (4 p.m. Tampa Bay time) just 10 minutes before first pitch is scheduled here. CF B.J. Upton has been the subject of most speculation, though with the Braves getting Michael Bourn from the Astros, the market may be down to the Nationals. There was a report that the Tigers had some interest in reliever Joel Peralta.

RHP Jeremy Hellickson will be on the mound for the Rays, trying again for his 10th win. The Mariners are starting Jason Vargas.
