The Rays, coming off their second straight win, return to face the Marlins tonight in a nationally-televised FOX game.

They got some encouraging news pre-game, as 3B Evan Longoria (partially torn left hamstring), came through a big test in his recovery by running the bases - and feeling good - doing it. Longoria said he will run the bases again Tuesday, and then hopes to start a rehab assignment Wednesday or Thursday.

Manager Joe Maddon has said Longoria would need a week to 10 days rehab assignment, and though Longoria is pushing for shorter, the Rays are going to be cautious with their All-Star third baseman.
