For starters, Rays at Nats, with Moore on the mound

The Rays are looking to make it two out of three against the NL East Nationals as they wrap up their interleague series tonight with rookie LHP Matt Moore on the mound.

Moore has been on a roll, winning this last three starts primarily due to improved fastball command. The Nats will start LHP Gio Gonzalez, who the Rays have some experience against from his days in Oakland.

OF Matt Joyce's availability is one of the questions facing the Rays, as he left Tuesday's game with a stiff back and sat out Wednesday.

Also unclear is what the Rays plan to do with INF Brooks Conrad, who was claimed off waivers from Milwaukee today.

Later this afternoon MLB is expected to announce a suspension for Rays reliever Joel Peralta.
