For starters, Rays at O's, with first-place on the line

BREAKING: The Rays have moved on to Baltimore where they open a series with the Orioles, who, unexpectedly, are tied with them for first place.


RHP Jeremy Hellickson will be on the mound for the Rays, who have lost four of their last five. The shorthanded O's have called up LHP Dana Eveland to start.

The Rays have a few lineup decisions to make, with OFs Desmond Jennings and Matt Joyce both limited by injuries.

Joyce has been out on the field early today with his left ankle taped working with outfield coach George Hendrick.

The game also marks the return to Baltimore of Rays DH Luke Scott, who spent four years with the O's.
