UPDATE, 12:01: B.J. Upton said he is feeling better, but Maddon said there is still soreness, especially when he tries to swing. Scott is hitting leadoff to get 3 at-bats, and just for a different look. .. Maddon on Andy Pettitte's return to the Yankees: "Interesting.'' Maddon said he doesn't know Pettitte but has heard very good things about him: "When I read that I thought one of the main off-shoots is him in that clubhouse is probably a good thing for the Yankees." ... Maddon said there have been no sunburn casualties among the newly bald.

UPDATE, 10:32: The Rays 3-9-3 start is their third worst through 15 spring games, having been 1-14 in 2007 and 3-11-1 in 2003. ...  Relievers Fernando Rodney, Joel Peralta, Burke Badenhop, J.P. Howell will throw in minor-league games today in Port Charlotte.
