BREAKING: After winning two of three in Baltimore and Anaheim, the Rays open the third leg of their road trip tonight in Oakland, with first pitch around at 10:05.

The Rays will have ace David Price on the mound going for his major-league leading 15th win, against A's rookie A.J. Griffin. Price andMets knuckleballer R.A. Dickey both have 14 wins.

Price will be looking to extend the team's 23-inning scoreless streak, one off the franchise record, set in May 2008.

Also of note, the Rays dropped to last in the majors in hitting, at .231.

* Evan Longoria is in the lineup again for Triple-A Durham as the DH, the fourth game of his rehab assignment. Though manager Joe Maddon said initially Longoria would need only 3-4 games, he has since acknowledged it is more likely Longoria wouldn't rejoin the Rays until they get home Friday, at the earliest.

* Montgomery RHP Alex Colome was named pitcher of the week in the Double-A Southern League after going 2-0, 1.15.
