Among pre-game guests on the field, was Oil Can Boyd who played with Rays coaches Dave Martinez and Tom Foley in Montreal. ... Maddon had positive updates on both 3B Evan Longoria (who is running) and LHP J.P. Howell (who throws his first BP on Wednesday). Maddon said Longoria's timetable remains the same, that he'd be out for a minimum of three weeks (which would be April 24), and then need at least a few minor-league rehab games.
