For starters, Rays at Red Sox

UPDATE, 6:05: Rays manager Joe Maddon was fined $500 for his Sunday ejection. ... Maddon went as righthanded as he could in tonight's lineup against Jon Lester, but acknowledged he was just taking a shot with Felipe Lopez in the cleanup spot, where he'd hit only five times previously in his career. ... Maddon said it was important to get new relievers Adam Russell and Cesar Ramos in the game last night so they could get the Fenway experience out of the way. .. Maddon also said he was glad the Rays will get to see Carl Crawford receive his Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards tonight since he won them as a Ray. ... Among pre-game guests on the field, was Oil Can Boyd who played with Rays coaches Dave Martinez and Tom Foley in Montreal. ... Maddon had positive updates on both 3B Evan Longoria (who is running) and LHP J.P. Howell (who throws his first BP on Wednesday). Maddon said Longoria's timetable remains the same, that he'd be out for a minimum of three weeks (which would be April 24), and then need at least a few minor-league rehab games.
