For starters, Rays-Red Sox, again, with Upton
UPDATE, 4:55: Rays make it official, RHP Andy Sonnanstine will start Wednesday game in Baltimore, filling hole in rotation caused by postponement/DH.
UPDATE, 3:41: There's another lineup change for the Rays - TV analyst Kevin Kennedy left after the first game, as he had a flight home to California and wasn't scheduled to do the Baltimore games, so the crew called for the lefthander and Brian Anderson will work the second game.
Also, Joe Maddon characterized the Rays recent string of losses this way: "We are definitely in mid-production of Groundhog Day Part II, or the sequel. Every game is pretty much that game, save for the one you saw (Saturday). We've had two of those, otherwise ... that's the game we've been playing for the last two weeks.''
DEVELOPING: With their losing streak now at 10, the Rays are using a few more regulars than manager Joe Maddon had indicated in the second half of this noon-5 p.m. DH, with Jason Bartlett, Carl Crawford, Evan Longoria and Ben Zobrist all getting double-duty.
B.J. Upton will return to the field for the first time since being removed from Wednesday's game.
The losing streak is the Rays' second longest of the Joe Maddon era - they lost 11 from June 25-July 5, 2007.
