For starters, Rays at Red Sox, with issues
The Rays and Red Sox will do battle again tonight, and in front of Fox's national TV cameras, with the primary question whether there will a continued of the flared tempers from Friday night.
The umpires, who didn't make any ejections last night, seem likely to issues a pre-game warning, and with both teams starting one of their best pitchers, David Price for the Rays and Josh Beckett for the Sox, it seems unlikely for any retaliation, at least initially.
In case you somehow missed it, a benches- and bullpen-clearing broke out in the ninth inning after Boston's Franklin Morales first threw behind, then inside and then hit Luke Scott. There were a few heated scrums, though no major punches landed.
Afterward, Rays manager Joe Maddon made several pointed comments suggesting the issue started with the Red Sox coaching staff - and not the players - and called it, among other things, "a weak, cowardly effort" and "incompetent behavior." Sox manager Bobby Valentine seemed to shrug it off, saying, "Boys will be boys.''
Here is the Boston lineup, with Adrian Gonzalez in rightfield:
