For starters, Rays at Royals, at end of the road



UPDATE, 2:09: The lineup sheet was wrong, Perez is catching for the Royals, not Pena.

BREAKING: he Rays wrap up a nine-game three-city road trip this afternoon in Kansas City, hoping to avoid a sweep and salvage a 4-5 record on the eventful journey.

Rookie LHP Matt Moore will be on the mound for the Rays, taking on Royals call-up Everett Teaford, in a game the Rays pretty much need to win as they head home for seven games with the potent Tigers and powerful Yankees.

Brooks Conrad will be the 10th different cleanup hitter used by the Rays, and the third to do so for the first time at the big-league level, following Jeff Keppinger and Drew Sutton.
