For starters, Rays (ss) at Twins
Update 4:06 p.m. The Rays beat the Twins 1-0, with some great baserunning in a two-out, ninth inning rally. Hak Ju-Lee walked, stole second and - with a good secondary lead - hustled to score on an infield error. "Excellent baserunning," bench coach Dave Martinez. "That wins ballgames."
*The Rays did have minor injury news, with INF Sean Rodriguez being taken out of the game for precautionary reasons due to a sprained left index finger, suffered when trying to make a tag on a stolen base attempt.
*There was some good pitching, with RHP Chris Archer throwing two scoreless innings, getting himself out of a tough jam in the first to retire Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau.
*LHP Jake McGee looked - and felt - good in his first exhibition appearance, throwing a scoreless inning and striking out Mauer with his improved slider.
Update 11:43 a.m. The Rays will face several of the Twins regulars today here at Hammond Stadium, including C Joe Mauer and 1B Justin Morneau.
