For starters, Rays-Tigers, with Aki again, and Upton back

UPDATE, 12:21: Maddon said Akinori Iwamura told him this morning his left knee felt fine, so he decided to play him two days in a row, the first time Iwamura will play in the field on back-to-back days. He likely will be off on Monday vs. lefty Jarrod Washburn.

Maddon said the Rays are finalizing their plans for September callups, with the possibility of up to six additional players after Iwamura and Andy Sonnanstine, who will start Tuesday. He didn't want to name names, but the group will include OF Fernando Perez, a third catcher (either Shawn Riggans or Michel Hernandez), another INF (likely Reid Brignac), and RHP Wade Davis, along with at least one reliever from the group of Joe Nelson, Dale Thayer and Jeff Bennett. Other possibilities include OF Matt Joyce.

Also, the Red Sox further shuffled their rotation to stack it for the series at the Trop, with Jon Lester pitching Tuesday, Josh Beckett Wednesday and Clay Buchholz on Thursday.

DEVELOPING: The Rays are looking to make it two straight today against the Tigers, with Akinori Iwamura in the lineup again and B.J. Upton back because Maddon likes him against Tigers starter Justin Verlander.

Here is their lineup:
