Developing: The Rays, coming off an intense, three-game series against the Yankees, will try to avoid a letdown this weekend as they host the Angels, who are in third place in the AL West.

Rookie RHP Wade Davis will take the mound, boasting a seven-game winning streak, tied for the longest in club history (tied with Jeff Niemann and Mark Hendrickson). RHP Dan Haren, who has pitched really well as of late, will start for the Angels.

Manager Joe Maddon has said he's not concerned the Rays will let up, even with another series with the Yankees coming up Monday in New York.

"This time of year, if you take your foot off the gas at all, that's your fault," Maddon said. "There's no letting up right now. I don't care who you're playing, where you're playing, whatever. You've got your foot down on the gas pedal now, period."

Lineups to come...
