For starters, Rays vs Angels

Update 5:01 p.m. SS Jason Bartlett said he felt good running the bases and sliding this afternoon, and will start a three-game rehab assignment Friday in Port Charlotte (he'll DH the first day, and then work his way back to short) before  - if all goes well - joining the Rays on their road trip Tuesday in Colorado.

Manager Joe Maddon also said there's a chance DH Pat Burrell could be back Friday's game (as long as he's healthy after tonight's rehab game in Port Charlotte); Maddon said Burrell spoke to him over the phone and said, "I'm ready."

Maddon said he has no concerns bringing him back for the two interleague series next week (where there will be no DH and Burrell can only pinch-hit), and said Burrell's experience in the National League may be helpful too.

The Rays finish off a three-game series with the Angels tonight, with LHP David Price on the mound.

Several Rays are out doing early batting practice, and SS Jason Bartlett has been working out too. He appears headed for a three-game rehab assignment in Port Charlotte this weekend, with hopes of rejoining the team for next week's road trip.
