DEVELOPING: The Rays will begin a three game interleague series with the Cardinals - and their Tampa native manager Tony La Russa - tonight at Tropicana Field.

St. Louis is still tied for first place in the NL Central despite having to play without injured superstar 1B Albert Pujols, and will start RHP Jake Westbrook tonight on the mound.

The Rays will have RHP Wade Davis, who has won his last three starts and feels like he's starting to hit his stride. Tampa Bay has won five of its last seven series, but have lost three of their last four series at home, as they try to figure out the perplexing problem of why it can't play as well at the Trop.
