For starters, Rays vs. Indians

UPDATE, 5:15: Both manager Joe Maddon and RHP Matt Garza said he came through his ninth-inning relief appearance fine and remained on track to start Saturday, though Maddon acknowledged he may be on something of a "shorter leash." ... Maddon also said he's been extremely pleased with the work of Ben Zobrist recently in the leadoff spot, and will probably leave him there against righthanded starters for now, with the possbility B.J. Upton or Jason Bartlett could eventually get another shot.

UPDATE, 4:10:  Here is the Rays lineup:

 Zobrist rf,
Crawford lf,
Longoria 3b,
Pena 1b,
Rodriguez 2b,
Joyce dh,

DEVELOPING: The atmosphere won't be as intense as the last three nights, but the games will be just as important for the Rays as they open a four-game series tonight against the Indians heading into the All-Star break.

The news of the day thus far is AL/Yankees manager Joe Girardi saying Rays LHP David Price is an "extremely strong" candidate to start the All-Star Game, and also that RHP Jeff Niemann was "deserving" of selection to the team.

Here is the Indians lineup:

Nix 2b
Santana c
Hafner dh
Kearns rf
Peralta 3b
Crowe lf
Marte 1b
