For starters, Rays vs Jays; Navarro scratched from lineup

Catcher Dioner Navarro was a late scratch from the Rays lineup today with soreness in his lower right leg. C John Jaso will start in his place.

Navarro may still face discipline from Major League Baseball for making physical contact with home plate umpire Dan Bellino following a sixth-inning ejection last night. Navarro argued balls and strikes after a pitch from Grant Balfour was called a ball, and had a heated exchange with Bellino before getting kicked out. Manager Joe Maddon said he's comfortable with Sean Rodriguez serving as an emergency catcher.

Rodriguez said he's been working with bullpen coach Bobby Ramos, and is ready and willing in case he is needed; Maddon said Ramos told him Rodriguez is ready to catch in a full game right now.

*Also, DH Pat Burrell is out for the second straight game, with Maddon saying he's been bothered by some stifness in his upper back (coming off the late night flight Friday morning from the road trip). Maddon said Burrell is fine, and should be back in next couple days.

The Rays lineup:
Bartlett ss
Crawford lf
Zobrist 2b
Longoria 3b
Pena 1b
Upton cf
Aybar dh
Kapler rf
Jaso rf
Niemann p
