For starters, Rays vs. Orioles
Update 9:26 a.m. LHP David Price appeared to still be favoring his neck, which had minor spasms yesterday, and though he said it's getting better, it's still stiff.
Price said he wouldn't throw until the neck was right, but still believes the injury won't put him off schedule.
"It's still stiff, but it's better than it was yesterday so I'm getting better," he said.
*SS Sean Rodriguez, who suffered a left index finger sprain yesterday, is not in the clubhouse, maybe he's getting x-rays or seeing a specialist for his hand. SS Reid Brignac, scuffed up after Tigers INF Andy Ciriaco slid into him yesterday, isn't playing, but said he hopes to tommorrow against the Red Sox in Fort Myers.
Developing: The Rays are back in Port Charlotte to face the Orioles, and should have some news today as manager Joe Maddon will announce his Opening Day starter.
That'll most likely be RHP James Shields, coming off a spectacular bounce-back season in which he took third in the AL Cy Young voting.
OF Sam Fuld is expected to make his first spring appearance of the spring, having felt good in testing his wrist injury. Alex Cobb will start today's game, followed by Alex Torres.
There will be more updates on 3B Evan Longoria (bruised hand), as he may take part in batting practice - he's just two sessions of those away from getting in his first spring game.
The Rays are going through media training now - so they should have some great answers when we're allowed in the clubhouse (or so we hope).
We'll be posting updates on Twitter at @TBTimesRays2 and @TBTimes_Rays all day.
Here's the Rays lineup
