The rotation is being shuffled to set up future matchups, and the immediate change is that Andy Sonnanstine, who appeared to be bumped from the rotation is instead going to start on Friday at Seattle. ... Maddon dropped Longoria back to the cleanup spot in part to see if three days leading off was enough to get him going, and to try Zobrist in the top spot and see if he has similar success.

DEVELOPING: he Rays look to bounce back from Monday's poor performance tonight with rookie RHP Alex Cobb on the mound for his second big-league start.
The Rangers will have LHP C.J. Wilson going, and the Rays lineup should again be an interesting assemblage by manager Joe Maddon.
