For starters, Rays vs. Red Sox

UPDATE, 12:48: The Rays have a chance to break a dubious club record today, having struck out 10 or more times in four straight games, something they'd done three times previously. They have struck out 10 or more times in 14 of their last 27 games, and 28 times overall, second most in the AL behind the Orioles, 31.

UPDATE, 12:44: One surprise in the lineup today is that Luke Scott, who has a career .407 average against Boston starter Josh Beckett, isn't playing. Maddon doesn't hold his regular media session before home day games, but word is that he wanted to give Matsui (who has a .225 avg. vs. Beckett) a start and didn't have a way to get both Matsui and Scott into the lineup. .... Putting Rhymes at the top is also a bit surprising since he hasn't faced Beckett; Johnson is 0-for-2. ... The Sox do have 1B Adrian Gonzalez in the lineup for the first time this weekend.

Sox lineup:
Ellsbury cf
Nava lf
Ortiz dh
Gonzalez 1b
Ross rf
Saltalamacchia c
Middlebrooks 3b
Aviles ss
Ciriaco 2b
Beckett p

BREAKING: The Rays look to make it two out of three against the Red Sox today with James Shields on the mound.
Their lineup:
Rhymes 2B,
Pena 1B,
Zobrist RF,
Upton CF,
Matsui DH,
Keppinger 3B,
Jennings LF,
Lobaton C,
Johnson SS,
