For starters, Rays vs. Red Sox

UPDATE, 6:40: The Rays have signed two of their supplemental round draft picks, No. 52 LHP Blake Snell and No. 56 OF Kes Carter.

UPDATE, 6:36: Rays manager Joe Maddon said he wanted to get Fuld back on the field and with the Marlins starting a lefty on Friday liked this matchup better. ... Maddon said he hadn't heard anything about the Scott Kazmir situation - the former Ray was released by the Angels - beyond what he read in the media (and heard from his wife, who was at their southern California home and heard it on the news)

UPDATE, 3:51: Rays lineup with a change, Fuld in left instead of Ruggiano.

DEVELOPING: The Rays and Red Sox play the final game of what has thus far been a tense and tight series, with each team winning once.

The Rays will have LHP David Price on the mound tonight in what should be another good pitching matchup with Boston's Clay Buchholz.

The Red Sox lineup is up, with ex-Ray Carl Crawford - thus far 1-for-6 in his first trip back to the Trop - dropped to seventh in the order vs. the lefthanded Price. Also, Darnell McDonald is in centerfield and Mike Cameron in right.

Lightning star Steven Stamkos is one several Bolts expected to take batting practice today, and he will throw out the first pitch.

Also, OF Chris Carter was granted his release from Triple-A Durham, where he was hitting .270 with 10 homers and 46 RBIs.
