For starters, Rays vs Royals

Update 5:02 p.m. Manager Joe Maddon said he had initially planned to play Navarro Sunday, but felt Jaso showed some signs of fatigue, making tonight a better day.

Maddon said Jaso will be behind the plate Sunday, and then Navarro will likely catch all three games in Seattle, who will start three straight left-handers.

"It's been only like a week, but it seems like it's been a month," Navarro said of not playing. "You guys know me, I just like to play and be out there and help my team win, that's the most important thing."

Developing: Catcher Dioner Navarro is back in the lineup tonight as the Rays will host the Royals at Tropicana Field.

Rookie C John Jaso has gone 7-1 as a starter, but manager Joe Maddon said he wanted to get Navarro in for one of these two weekend games. 2B Reid Brignac is back in the lineup at second.

LHP David Price will try to follow up the best outing of his career, a complete-game shutout against the Jays.

The Rays lineup:
Bartlett ss
Crawford lf
Zobrist rf
Longoria 3b
Pena 1b
