For starters, Rays vs White Sox
Update CF B.J. Upton left Sunday's game after the second inning due to what the Rays described as tightness in his right quadriceps muscle.
He was 1-for-1 with a stolen base before getting replaced by Gabe Kapler to start the third.
Update 12:44 p.m. The Rays made a lineup switch, with Evan Longoria moved to DH and Willy Aybar to third base.
Manager Joe Maddon said Longoria tweaked his left foot a little bit making a play on a slow roller in Saturday night's game. Though Longoria tested it, Maddon said he's "fine," they just decided it was better to flip-flop them (both were going to be in the lineup anyways).
RHP Matt Garza starts for the Rays today as they head into their series - and homestand - finale against the White Sox, having lost four of their last five games.
The Rays (5-7) still haven't found their way offensively, but will try to get some momentum going before leaving on a nine-day West Coast road trip, including series in Seattle and Oakland, before a stop in Minnesota.
With this being a day before the trip, a few Rays regulars (Jason Bartlett, Dioner Navarro and Pat Burrell) will get the day off.
Willy Aybar will step in at designated hitter, and backup C Michel Hernandez will be behind the plate.
