For starters, Rays vs. White Sox, with no Damon

UPDATE, 5:20: Damon tried taking some swings in early batting practice but wasn't comfortable getting four at-bats, Maddon said. He is available to pinch-hit later, and could be used to pinch-run also. "He's doing a lot better he just wasn't 100 percent,'' Maddon said. "Maybe tomorrow.'' ... 1B Dan Johnson (left wrist) felt good enough to return to the lineup and will be the DH. ... RHP James Shields on Tuesday became the first Ray to throw 1,000 innings, and also passed LHP Scott Kazmir for the most strikeouts at the Trop (461).

UPDATE, 3:40: Rays lineup:
Fuld lf
Zobrist 2b
Joyce rf
Lopez 3b
D. Johnson dh
Upton cf
Kotchman 1b
Jaso c
Brignac ss
Davis p

UPDATE, 3:21: Rays Damon won't be in the lineup today, says he could pinch-hit. Tried some swings, bruised left ring finger didn't feel good. Can pinch-run also.

The Rays look to get back to .500 with another win tonight against the White Sox, and will have Wade Davis on the mound. After starting 0-6, the Rays have won 8 of their last 11 to improve to 8-9.

The big questions for the Rays are medical, specifically whether DH/OF Johnny Damon (left ring finger) and 1B Dan Johnson (left wrist) will return to the lineup.

The White Sox lineup will look like this, with Phil Humber, former Rice teammate of Jeff Niemann, on the mound:
Pierre lf
Beckham 2b
Quentin rf
Konerko 1b
Dunn dh
Rios cf
Pierzynski c
Ramirez ss
Teahen 3b
Humber p
