For starters, Rays vs. Yankees
Update 5:14 p.m. Maddon said DH Johnny Damon isn't in the lineup due to the lefty CC Sabathia on the mound, but is available to pinch-hit (as is OF Matt Joyce). OF Sam Fuld was picked over Joyce tonight because he's been working better at-bats against lefties, Maddon said.
*Maddon said the bullpen is pretty much back to full strength, though he still had to check with LHP Cesar Ramos.
*Maddon isn't quite ready to name the rotation for the Oakland series, but RHP Jeremy Hellickson said he'll be starting Monday. RHP Wade Davis is ready to come off the disabled list (right forearm strain) and will start Friday in Kansas City.

DEVELOPING: The Rays, coming off getting shutout in a loss to the Yankees Wednesday, will give it another shot tonight as they wrap up a seven-game homestand.
Tampa Bay, which is 2-4 against New York and Boston in the past week, will have a tough task in facing Yankees ace lefty CC Sabathia. Sabathia, who turns 31 today, has won seven straight starts, and 11 of his last 12, including allowing just one earned run over his last four.
Rays right-hander James Shields will be on the mound, having been in a pretty impressive duel with Sabathia his last time out in New York, a complete-game 1-0 loss.
After tonight's game, the Rays will head out on a 10 game road trip to Kansas City, Oakland and Seattle.
