Not sure what the local weather forecasters saw on their computer screens, but it is a beautiful day at the ballpark as the Devil Rays take batting practice before playing the Blue Jays.

Not much news out of manager Joe Maddon's morning media session, though he is still hopeful that QB Jake Plummer - a personal favorite - will reconsider and join the Bucs. The Rays are sorting out their pitching plans after Saturday's game was shortened to six innings.

An interesting sidelight today will be the performacne of RHP Victor Zambrano, the former Ray who was traded to the Mets for Scott Kazmir. Zambrano is trying to win a spot with Toronto.

The Rays are back to using their regular players, and the Jays are not. Here are the starting lineups:
