Tampa native and four-time World Series champion Tino Martinez will be inducted into the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame on Feb. 3 at Tropicana Field.

Former home run champ Cecil Fielder will also be inducted, and former Orioles great Mike Flanagan, Rays pitcher Jeremy Hellickson and manager Joe Maddon will also be honored at the event, which is being held in partnership with Rays pitcher David Price and called Dinner with David and Friends.

Tickets, which are $99 and come signed by Price, include dinner on the field, a silent auction of memorabilia and an hour-long reception during which a group of current and former players will sign autographs including Rays pitchers Alex Cobb, Brandon Gomes, Jake McGee, and Matt Moore; former Ray Doug Waechter; former Yankees Ron Blomberg, Oscar Gamble, Elliott Maddox and Roy White; former Red Sox Bernie Carbo and former Tiger Ron LeFlore. Also expected are Boxing Hall of Fame trainer Angelo Dundee and Mickey O’Keefe from the movie, “The Fighter,” and others may be added.

Martinez, 44, played 16 seasons in the majors, including 2004 with his hometown Rays, plus the Mariners, Yankees and Cardinals. He had his most success in New York, as a key part of the 1996, and 1998-99-00 championship teams. Overall, he hit .271 with 339 homers and 1,271 RBIs. He currently works for the Yankees as a special assistant to GM Brian Cashman.

Fielder led the AL in homers in 1990 (51) and 1991 (44) while playing for Detroit during a 13-season career, that included stints with the Blue Jays, Yankees, Angels and Indians. He finished with a .255 average, 319 homers and 1,008 RBIs. He is the father of current star Prince Fielder.

Flanagan, who committed suicide Aug. 24, 2011, will be added to the Pitching Wall of Great Achievement, with representatives of the Orioles and his family on hand. Hellickson, who won the AL Rookie of the Year award, will receive the Williams rookie award. Maddon, who was voted the AL Manager of the Year, will be honored for his accomplishments.

Martinez, Fielder and Hellickson are all expected to be present. Maddon will be represented by the coaching staff.

The event benefits Price's Project 14 Foundation and the Ted Williams Museum, with proceeds to Tampa Bay area charities.
