Rays add 2 more postgame concerts: The Wiggles on July 3, Miranda Cosgrove on Sept. 3

Popular children’s entertainers The Wiggles and 17-year-old acclaimed actress and singer, Miranda Cosgrove, have been added to the list of acts performing at Tropicana Field this summer. The Wiggles will perform at the conclusion of the July 3 game as part of Family Fun Day presented by the St. Petersburg Times. Cosgrove is scheduled to perform as part of the Rays Summer Concert Series, presented by Hess Express, as part of Rays Saturday Nights, presented by Bright House Sports Network on September 3.
The Rays previously announced that REO Speedwagon (April 30 vs. LAA), Darius Rucker (May 14 vs. BAL), the Goo Goo Dolls (August 6 vs. OAK) and Miranda Lambert (September 24 vs. TOR) are scheduled to perform at Tropicana Field throughout the summer on select Saturday games. All concerts are free with the purchase of the show date’s game ticket.
Tickets for these games and all other Rays home games are currently available online, at the Tropicana Field Box Office, Rays Tampa Office & Pro Shop, via the Rays official website (raysbaseball.com), all Ticketmaster locations and by calling 888-FAN-RAYS.
Full season ticket holders in the Home Plate Club, Whitney Bank Club, Fieldside Box, Lower Infield Box or Lower Box locations will receive wristbands for special on-field access to each Saturday concert. Season ticket plans including all the Summer Concert Series games offer the

Since the concert series debuted in 2008, the Rays have gone 25-3 and averaged more than 30,000 fans on those dates.
The Wiggles – Sunday, July 3, Rays vs. St. Louis Cardinals, 1:40 p.m.
The Wiggles will celebrate their 20th birthday in the United States with their first tour stop at Tropicana Field. The Fab Four from down under are back in the United States with this year’s most anticipated family event. They have earned 17 gold, 12 platinum, three double-platinum and 10 multi-platinum awards for sales of over 17 million DVDs and four million CDs. Come along and “Sound Your Funky Horn,” “Clap Your Hands With Dorothy,” and do the “Hot Potato,” and join the Wiggles, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and all the Wiggly Dancers as they celebrate their Big Birthday at Tropicana Field.
Miranda Cosgrove – Saturday, September 3, Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles, 4:10 p.m.
Born and raised in California, Miranda Cosgrove, the raven-haired 17-year-old actress and singer is widely known for her longstanding lead role on Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated hit show iCarly. She released Sparks Fly (Columbia Records) in April 2010. Proving she is a lady of many impressive talents, the album debuted inside the Billboard Top 10 and resulted in a Teen Choice Award nomination for “Breakout Female Artist.” She recently released an EP called High Maintenance (Columbia Records) which spawned the hit “Dancing Crazy.” Miranda’s film and TV career has been moving full throttle ahead. She contributed her voice to the animated Golden Globe nominated film Despicable Me, acts as a spokeswoman for Neutrogena, made appearances at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Christmas in Washington with President Obama, appeared on the cover of the New York Time Magazine and guest starred on CBS’s The Good Wife.
