Upton limited again, eyeing potential Friday return
CF B.J. Upton said he still has some stiffness in his right shoulder, which was strained Monday, and was not ready to try throwing, which is why he is not in the lineup. He will be available for pinch-hitting or pinch-running tonight.
He hopes to try to throw Thursday and said he realistically was looking to return to the lineup on Friday in Toronto.
Manager Joe Maddon said he does not expect to miss more than another day or two.
