Upton nominated for Aaron award
Free-agent-to-be CF B.J. Upton is the Rays nominee for the Hank Aaron award, which recognizes the top offensive performer in each league.
The award is chosen by a panel of Hall of Famers, including Aaron, and a fan vote, being conducted on mlb.com. Winners will be named during the World Series.
Upton hit .246 and led the Rays with 28 homers and 78 RBIs.
