Wife of AAA pitching coach Neil Allen passes away
Lisa Allen, the wife of Rays Triple-A pitching coach Neil Allen, passed away Saturday after suffering an aneurysm in Sarasota.
Allen has been a coach in the Rays system since 2007, and has been at Triple-A Durham the last two seasons. He pitched 11 seasons in the majors, with the Mets, Cardinals, Yankees, White Sox and Indians. He also was a coach with the Yankees.
