Willy Aybar said he's out for a week due to left wrist
Tampa Bay Rays INF Willy Aybar, who sat out today's first fullsquad workout with a left wrist injury suffered in the winter, said he will be out for a week.
Aybar said he started to feel pain in the wrist when hitting on Tuesday, and the Rays just wanted to be cautious with him. He first injured the wrist making a check swing in a winter ball game, but said it doesn't feel as bad now. Aybar, wearing a brace on the wrist, said when he resumes workouts in week, he'll be able to do everything, including hitting.
