Zobrist leaves game after 3rd with back spasms
UPDATE, 5:54: Zobrist said it felt more like a small muscle pull than anything and that he didn't want to take any chances but is confident he will play on Tuesday. Also, he said there were no hugs on the way out of the dugout, and that the frenzied speculation on Twitter that he had been traded because he did so was "hilarious.''
UPDATE, 2:57: Zobrist left with what the team said were upper back spasms that are not considered to be serious.
BREAKING: Ben Zobrist left today's game after the third inning and was replaced at second base by Will Rhymes.
Zobrist grounded out to first base in his only at-bat for the final out of the first inning. He made a play on Nick Markakis' grounder in the top of the third with no apparent issues.
