UPDATE, 11:06: Three more players were reassigned to minor-league camp after the game - 1B Nick Weglarz, C Mark Thomas and INF Shawn O'Malley. The roster is now at 51.

DEVELOPING: The Rays cleared out their clubhouse a bit Monday by sending down eight pitchers, with RHP Alex Colome and LHP Mike Montgomery probably the two biggest names.

Colome, Montgomery and LHP Frank De Los Santos were optioned to Triple-A Durham, impressive LHP Enny Romero optioned to Double-A Montgomery, LHP Felipe Rivero optoined to Class A Charlotte.

Three others not on the 40-man roster were reassigned to minor-league camp: RHP Matt Buschmann, RHP Marquis Fleming, LHP Adam Liberatore.

There may be another two or three players sent down after tonight's game.

The spring roster is currently at 54 with these moves.
