Moore has a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow and the decision is whether he will have Tommy John surgery that willl keep him out a year or try to pitch through it.

The team said there is no set time frame to make a decision.

Moore left Monday's game against the Royals complaining of soreness, had an MRI Tuesday in Kansas City then went Wednesday to see noted specialist Dr. James Andrews for more extensive testing and examination.
