UPDATE, 5:12: OF Wil Myers took swings off of a batting tee today for the first time. That's the latest step in his recovery from a right wrist injury. He could return by mid-August.

RHP Joel Peralta said he feels much better from his illness. Doctors still weren't sure what the bug was, but he will likely make a rehab appearance this weekend and could rejoin the club Monday.

Manager Joe Maddon says he doesn't expect fireworks between the Red Sox and Rays tonight - they're outlawed under the dome at the Trop, after all.

DEVELOPING: The Rays begin a nine-game homestand tonight with a 7:10 matchup against the Red Sox.

LHP David Price (10-7, 3.07) is vying for his sixth consecutive victory. He hasn’t allowed a run in the last two games and will be making his latest possibly last start at Tropicana Field. The Red Sox will start LHP Jon Lester (10-7, 2.50).

These two teams have had a contentious recent history. In their last series at the Trop, the benches cleared after Boston apparently took offense to the Rays stealing with a five-run lead fairly late in the game.

Lineups and more when available.
