For starters: Rays at Angels, on Price's day

UPDATE, 8:55: Rays Maddon said Jennings is fine, it was just a matter of wanting to get Johnson in the lineup, and not wanting to take out Myers. ... Maddon said they had not decided yet on the pitching for the Boston series; it sounds like Price and Cobb will pitch two of the games and that Archer won't as they push him back to get him some rest. ... Maddon got a kick out of the TEAM WIL t-shirts.

DEVELOPING: Having won their last two games, the Rays are looking to make it three straight tonight before heading out to Seattle, and will have ace David Price on the mound.

Reminder: The start of tonight's game is expected to be delayed until 10:25 due to the pre-game induction of Bobby Knoop into the Angels Hall of Fame.

Price said he has had a chip on his shoulder since losing his last start and is even more determined and focused than usual to make amends tonight vs. the Angels.

The Rays offense is still not clicking, but has been cautiously better in scoring seven runs Tuesday and three - all on Wil Myers homers - on Wednesday. The hitters should have a good opporttunity tonight against Angels starter Jerome Williams, who has not won since June 12, going 0-8, 6.15 in 15 appearances (13 starts), allowing 85 hits and 29 walks in 71 2/3 innings.

Lineups when available.
