For starters: Rays at Dodgers, after a stunner
UPDATE, 3:13: Maddon said the vibe and "the bounce" in the clubhouse this morning was good, and he expects the team to shake off last night's loss, in part because they did so many good things before losing. ... RH Alex Cobb came through his Friday rehab start well and Maddon said if all workouts go okay this week he is in line to start Thursday. ... Sunday will be the key day for LH Matt Moore's timetable as he is scheduled to throw off the mound. .. Maddon said he considered batting Roberto Hernandez 8th today before sticking with ninth, but is giving it a lot of thought for Sunday with Jeremy Hellickson.
DEVELOPING: The Rays' ability to put tough losses behind them will be tested severely this afternoon as they take the field against the Dodgers after blowing a 6-0 lead on Friday to lose 7-6 on a walkoff error and have the task of facing the alwasy tough Zack Greinke.
Plus, the Rays will have the inconsistent Roberto Hernandez on the mound for the 4:05 p.m. game that is part of Fox's national selection.
Friday's game was the 14th time this season the Rays blew a lead in the 7th inning or later and the 11th time they lost as a result. It was also their 7th walkoff loss of the season.
