For starters: Rays at Dodgers, for the first time
UPDATE: 7:50: RHP Chris Archer said he played catch with no issues from the tightness in his right forearm that forced him from Wednesday's game and is on track to make his next start as scheduled on Tuesday. "Everything felt nornal,'' Archer said. He will throw a bullpen session on Saturday, and will be cleared assuming that goes well. ... LHP Matt Moore played catch at a distance of 100 feet and said his left elbow felt good, and he expects to throw off the mound for the first time on Sunday, hoping to throw another bullpen Tuesday or Wednesday and then be cleared to return. ... Ex-Ray Carl Crawford is not in the Dodgers lineup tonight vs. lefty Price. ... RHP Josh Lueke is here and said he is excited to get another chance in the Rays pen.
UPDATE, 7:45: Wil Myers is back in the Rays lineup and back in CF tonight as the Rays go extremely right-handed vs. Dodgers LH Chris Capuano.
DEVELOPING: The Rays make their first-ever visit to Dodger Stadium tonight, with David Price on the mound trying to prevent their first three-game losing streak since mid-June.
Price has been on a roll since coming off the disabled list, but the Dodgers have been the majors' hottest team for more than a month.
The series will be a reunion with two long-time Rays now in Dodger blue, Carl Crawford and J.P. Howell.
It also showcases two of the game's top rookies, Rays OF Wil Myers and Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig.
Myers is expected back in the lineup tonight after leaving Wednesday's game in Arizona due to asthma.
The Rays will have a new arm in their bullpen, having called up RHP Josh Lueke and designated for assignment veteran RHP Kyle Farnsworth.
Dodger Stadium is the only current ballpark the Rays have not played in.
Lineups when available.
