For starters, Rays at Indians, with Colome sent down
Update 6:14 p.m. The tarp is on the field here in Cleveland, but the rain - for now - as stopped, with manager Joe Maddon optimistic they're going to play tonight.
*LHP Jeff Beliveau, called up from Triple-A to aid the worn bullpen, will provide some much-needed depth, as Maddon said RHPs Joel Peralta, Fernando Rodney and LHP Jake McGee are unvaiable tonight. So it'll be important for LHP Matt Moore to go deep into the game.
*RHP Alex Cobb said his right middle finger feels a lot better, and is confident he'll start Tuesday in Detroit.
*RHP Chris Archer is in the house, excited to get called up and make his season debut Saturday against the Indians, the team that drafted him.
Update 4:45 p.m. The Rays lineup looks the same, with Jennings still in the seventh spot.
Developing: The Rays are here in rainy Cleveland to open a three-game series, and began the day with a roster move.
As impressive as rookie RHP Alex Colome was Thursday night in his big-league debut, a win over the Marlins, he was sent back down to Triple-A Durham.
LHP Jeff Beliveau was recalled, giving the Rays some depth in the bullpen for tonight. Beliveau, who was called up for a day May 19 as insurance, will likely get sent back down after tonight's game to make room for the activation of RHP Chris Archer, who starts Saturday against the Indians.
LHP Matt Moore will start tonight, will try to become the major league's first nine-game winner.
The tarp is already on the infield at Progressive Field, with rain in the forecast throughout the afternoon and evening.
Lineups, and more, to come.
