UPDATE, 2:03: Cash said 2B Logan Forsythe (bruised left shoulder) is feeling much better and Cash expects him to be able to pinch-hit today if needed, and on track for a Friday return to the lineup. ... Cash said plans are always subject to change, but for now it looks like they will roll with a 5-man rotation with Andriese in, and Erasmo in the pen. ... Andriese will start Saturday at the Trop. ... Jennings is out of the lineup today, and as much as Cash wants to see him get going he said it just makes more sense to play Guyer.

DEVELOPING: After a pair of tight losses, the Rays are hoping to avoid a sweep and put a happy ending on their west coast road trip today when they take on the Mariners at 3:40.

RHP Chris Archer, feeling he is fulling back in form and jokingly referring to his three-pitch arsenal as "Lethal Weapon 3,'' will be on the mound for the Rays. RHP Tijuan Walker, a promising young hard-thrower, starts for the Mariners.
