For starters: Rays at Orioles, weather permitting
UPDATE, 5:34: Cash said they are expecting rain before the scheduled start time, which could lead to a delay. Or they could start and then get into a delay. Also, that the winds are expected to pick up. ... The Rays announced their rotation for next week's series with Cleveland, indicating they will add a fifth starter on Wednesday, giving the other starters an extra day's rest. RHP Matt Andriese, who started Friday for Triple-A Durham, is lined up for that day. Or they could use RHP Erasmo Ramirez if he isn't needed much in relief before then.
UPDATE, 4:46: The Orioles took batting practice as normal, but the Rays did not leaving the players with little to do in the clubhouse. That decision was made in part because rain is expected during when the Rays would hitting. ... O's manager Buck Showalterwas effusive in his praise of Steve Pearce, who has been with them his previous 3 1/2 seasons. ... Several Rays were taking precautions for the weather, stocking up on pocked handwarmers and adding extra layers.
UPDATE, 4:45: The Orioles are again without CF Adam Jones and SS J.J. Hardy, but manager Buck Showalter said both could return Sunday.

DEVELOPING: Morning rain and afternoon snow showers have given way to some sunshine in Baltimore this afternoon as the Rays and Orioles are preparing to play on what will be a very cold night.
Another round of rain is expected around 6 p.m. but then it will be clear with temperatures dipping into the high 30s, and a feels-like in the 20s.
The Rays will have LHP Drew Smyly, who is used to cold weather from his days in Detroit, on the mound. The Orioles are starting RHP Mike Wright.
