UPDATE, 12:21: CF Kevin Kiermaier took batting practice and fly balls and is very eager to start his rehab games on Monday in Port Charlotte and very optimistic he will be back in the Rays lineup on Friday. ... Cash said he wants the players to use the first couple days of the break to take their minds off baseball, then hopes they come back ready to turn things around after the break. ... RHP Alex Colome said he is excited to head to San Diego after the game and represent the Rays in the All-Star Game. "It will be fun,'' Colome said. "Exciting.'' ... Cash is using more of his left-handed hitters vs. Price today, starting Dickerson and Arcia, with Beckham and Souza on the bench.  ... Cash said they hope to get Colome into the game today, and that he is good to go to pitch Tuesday.

Here is the Red Sox lineup:
Betts rf
Pedroia 3b
Bogaerts ss
Ortiz dh
Bradley cf
Hill 3b

DEVELOPING: Badly in need of the four-day All-Star break that starts after today's game, the Rays take on the Red Sox and ex-mate LHP David Price at 1:35.

The Rays have lose five straight, nine of their last 10 and 21 of 24, which is the worst stretch in franchise history for a team that has known plenty of bad.

RHP Jake Odorizzi will be on the mound for the Rays, seeking to bounce back from a rough start vs. the Angels.

Price has struggled in facing his ex-mates.

Here is the Rays lineup, with Brandon Guyer hitting cleanup:
Forsythe 2b,
Miller ss,
Longoria 3b,
Guyer cf,
Morrison 1b,
Casali c,
Dickerson dh,
Franklin lf,
Arcia rf,
Odorizzi p
