For starters, Rays at Tigers, looking for another

UPDATE, 3:10: SS Yunel Escobar felt good after testing his shoulder again Saturday and headed back to Tampa to begin a three-day minor-league rehab assignment on Monday, with the expectation that he will rejoin the Rays on Friday.

RHP Jeremy Hellickson threw his bullpen session as the Trop and felt good, but Maddon said the Rays have not made a decision yet on whethert to put him back in their rotation or option him to the minors for more work. His 30-day rehab assignment ends on Sunday.

The Rays bus arrived at 1:45, about 15 minutes later than planned, as the driver got lost on the way from Birmingham, Mich., to the stadium in downtown Detroit.

Maddon said he hadn't heard from AL/Red Sox manager John Farrell or any league officials about the AL All-Star team that will be announced on Sunday night, and reiterated that he feels LHP Jake McGee and LHP David Price are both worthy of selection.
