DEVELOPING: The Rays are at the end of the road on a trip that looked highly dangerous at the start and turned out to be very succesful, with an 8-2 mark going into tonight's nationally televised ESPN Sunday Night Baseball finale against the Tigers.
The Rays will have LHP David Price, the subject of intense trade speculation, on the mound against Tigers RHP Rick Porcello in what could be a matchup of All-Stars.
The All-Star squads will be announced shortly before game time, and both Price and Porcello are considered strong candidates,
The Rays have been winning with a team effort, with INF Logan Forsythe their hottest hitter and an effective bullpen-by-committee.
