For starters: Rays at Twins, with a younger look

With most of the big leaguers in camp on the flight back from Cuba that didn't get back to Tampa until 5 a.m., the Rays scrambled to put together a lineup to face the Twins today of prospects and Triple-A-bound players who are still in camp.

Turns out that Cash and 3B coach Charlie Montoyo are making the trip. Also, they are starting LHP Dana Eveland so he can face some frontline hitters. But that also allows them to look at RHP Erasmo Ramirez out of the bullpen, with the possibility given an April schedule loaded with off-days that he could be used more in relief than as a fifth starter.

Here is the Rays lineup:
Braxton Lee cf,
Jake Hager 2b,
Jaff Decker rf,
Kyle Roller dh,
Patrick Leonard 3b,
Cameron Seitzer 1b,
Daniel Robertson ss,
Johnny Field lf,
Jake DePew c,
Dana Eveland p
